Baghchal is a traditional strategy board game from Nepal. It is also written Bagh Chal, BaghChal or Bagchal. The name means "moving tiger" in Nepali. One player controls four tigers and the other controls twenty goats, on a board of 5 × 5 points joined by lines.
It is easy to learn and hard to master: the tigers must hunt, and the goats must stay together and trap them.
Baghchal is played on a 5 × 5 board with 4 tigers and 20 goats. The goats are placed one at a time, and once all 20 are down they move one step along the lines. Tigers move one step, or jump over a goat to capture it. Read the complete rules guide.
The tigers win by capturing five goats. The goats win by trapping all four tigers, so that none of them can move or jump.
The goat player moves first, by placing a goat on the board.
A tiger jumps in a straight line, along a drawn line, over a goat next to it and lands on the empty point behind. The jumped goat is removed.

Baghchal, Bagh Chal, BaghChal and Bagchal are all used for the same game, the tiger and goat board game from Nepal.
